Brierley Thorpe (above, far right) is the 1st place winner of the 2011 FACE Award.
Brierley originally trained as an actress, has worked in theatre, tv and film, and has a Masters Degree in playwriting. Brierley has a face painting hygiene certificate from the London School of Face Painting, and is an advanced member of The Face Painting Association.
Brierley has several years experience of painting children and adults at private and corporate events. Her unique face painting style combines bold colour blending and delicate brushwork, creating wonderful faces time after time.

Fur Fang Fairy adhere to the strictest code of hygiene.
The face paints and glitters used by Fur Fang Fairy are made by Diamond FX, Grimas, Kryolan, Paradise and Snazaroo - all high quality, hypo-allergenic products which are safe to use on delicate skin, and which fully comply with all EEC cosmetic regulations.
Throughout each booking, makeup brushes are rinsed in fresh water which is regularly replenished, and a clean fresh sponge is used for each face. All equipment is cleaned thoroughly after each booking.
Face paints are easily removed with a little warm water and mild soap and a face cloth or gentle facial cleanser.
Fur Fang Fairy will not paint any child (or adult) with any of the following conditions: contagious diseases such as measles, german measles or chicken pox; contagious skin conditions such as cold sores, ringworm, scabies, impetigo; sore or broken skin; any inflamed / itchy skin condition; anyone suffering from known allergies to cosmetics; conjunctivitis.
Children must have permission from their parent/carer before having their face painted, and remain the responsibility of the event host/hostess throughout.
